At my current employer they used very old hotelier software. Once you execute the program it informs you the software license has expired. I figured that if I turn back the system date with a few years I will have access to the software which was the case.
The owner wants the data that's been saved during the years for reference but the software company doesn't want him to use the program without buying a new licence. Since he moved to a newer and better system I am trying to see if I can crack the program without messing with the system date each time the software is needed.
I have checked the registry where the program is installed to see if I can find any reference to a expiration date but no luck. If you take the option to renew the licence it ask you browse to a xml file. I couldn't find any xml files in the install directory to see how the file looks.
Any help to steer me in the right direction?
