Hi All

I've attached a drive last night to try this out.
In the router config I can see the drive is attached under Storage - so all looks fine.

Question, how to I access the drive from Windows or other devices? I tried \\10.0.0.2 and no go.

I enabled ftp on the router to see what happens and I could access the drive showing usb1_1 and usb1_2 for the partitions.

All the info I found so far refers to other models (there you have to supply a host name and domain) and nothing for the 700WR.

Is the ftp the only way then?

I don't have direct access to mine right now (or in the near future) but I also had issues when setting up. I got the impression that disk size / format was somehow the issue. I had a Seagate 2TB drive which I could not access via FTP or Samba, but eventually managed to share a small thumb drive Samba style over the network.

My drive is 500 or 750GB, can't recall now. Thought if I can access via FTP I should be ok.
I'll test with a thumb drive tonight and see what happens.

Thx
