Hi all,
Has anyone setup a decent solution to access a remove DVR (Digital
Video Recorder) over the internet, with decent speeds & cost
effectiveness?
A client of ours wants to monitor 6 remote branches from his office
and we're having a lot of connectivity issues. His house has ADSL,
which is rather unstable and off more then often. His office has
Diginet (not sure what speed), but it sometimes takes 3 minutes just
to login to the DVR at his house.
iBurst is a no-go on this. It connects fine, but doesn't stream video
at all. I can see the activity.
3G at his house is non-existent. I can't even make calls from his
study, have to go outside. But it's also very expensive.
So, I'm thinking either point-to-point diginet, or even last mile Wireless.
Any suggestions, or even some tips with such a setup?
