Accessing SMSes Online

Is there a way to access SMSes online? A friend of mine is in the US and doesn't have roaming activated on his number because he is there for a year and needs to urgently EFT money from his Nedbank account and can't do that because he can't access his South African number (a code or something is to be sent to the SA number to approve the transaction).

He is on Virgin Mobile (but I see there's no forum for Virgin Mobile unless I am blind ).

Why EFT? Can't it be done via an alternative payment method?

Anyway, I colleague has the same problem with Absa's 3D secure SMS Token. He eventually set it up, so that his Mum gets the code and then he calls her.

That's what he wants to do (the EFT). Though his dad got a hold of Nedbank and they are going to try sort this out tomorrow they're going to end up doing what you've described above it seems. Thanks for your reply!
