Howdy folks.
So this morning while my wife was driving down the street a neighbour was coming out of his driveway (head first) and T-boned my wife nicely on the front, passenger side.
His explanation is that he didn't see her as the sun was blinding him. *#&$!!!
I told him we can have a chat later when I get home, but at the very least he's admitting it was his fault.
My wife says there isn't too much damage as he was coming out too slowly - she obviously expected him to stop, but he didn't.
My question is this. The car has some slight damage from bumps at the back and on the side (I bought it like this) so I'm wondering how his insurance would handle this.
I've been planning to have it fixed for a while, just never got to it.
If his insurance is only fixing the damage caused by him, can I then speak to the panel-beaters to fix the bumps and invoice me separately?
