Accident shuts down N1

All outgoing traffic on the N1 was blocked and the M5 Traffic was diverted to the Paarden Eiland robot for the people wanting to get onto the N1.
I was stuck on the M5 yesterday for around 2 hours. My trip to Malmesbury that usually takes 1 hour took 3. I was really peeved.
Last Sunday a bus overturned at this same place and I was stuck once again on that confounded M5/N1 intersection.
Really annoying.
What compounds the problem is that a large proportion of people bypass the traffic waiting patiently in the right lane to get onto the N1 and nip into the queue at the front leaving the people waiting their turn very frustrated.
