Not yet CT ...
Will be on the way to CT in a few weeks and need recommendation for decent (4 star equivalent) accommodation in Beaufort West.

Thanks fellow travelers!

Rather turn off at Colesburg and head down the N9 and stay over at Graaff Reinet and avoid all those road works.

Assuming there are none on the N9

Lemoenfontein Game Lodge
Matoppo Inn
Old House Luxury Guesthouse

Three stars would give you more options doll, this hovel ain't no Sandton :D

Stay away Guatengers!

Already had a Windhoek plate, driving like a lost lamb earlier today.
The influx of Vaalie's will only make it worse... :o

LOL.

Here I opened the thread so I could recommend the wagon wheel as a cheap as chips option if you are just passing through on the drive down, then I saw the 4-star requirements.

I've stayed at Lemoenfontein overnight .. good value for money, and very good accommodation and evening meal & breakfast. I see it gets 4.5 out of five Tripadvisor stars.
Coming from Jhb side you would turn right off the N1 just before BWest, on the unsurfaced De Jagers pass road (it may also say "Loxton" ?) and its about 4 km up that dirt road .. but no problem in a sedan "plat" car.
