Account renewal problems

I just found out by my reseller that they wont renew my 9gig account for the month of September only. I would have to renew the account for the duration of three months before it can be cancelled.
Can anyone with some knowledge of this matter tell me if this is the position of WBS or is it only my reseller.

If your contract has been cancelled, the reseller(tradepage) that I was with wont renew your contract for a period of only one month because they say that it is expensive. The minimum amount of months that they will renew it for is three months. I was told that this is the stance of the reseller that I was with not WBS. I am not with that reseller anymore.
 
So the reseller thinks he is a cellphone company and want you to sign up for a new 24 month contract?

Maybe an ex-Telkom/MTN/Vodacom/CellC employee?
