Hi, I would like to do the ICB Financial Accounting Course but not sure if it is a good qualification to have. Then there is also the CIMA qualification that you can complete through ICB. Which one is best? Unfortunately I am not in a position to do the B.com "path" to become an accountant. Any advice would be appreciated.

Why accounting? With the way technology is developing the traditional accounting roles will dissappear. Most admin roles will dissappear as AI will do it faster and more accurately. Look at expense claims. There are software that can review all till slips, invoices, receipts and indicate which is fraudulent. This adoption will only accelerate.
