Only pulling your leg, highly depends on training choice, you should go do training. My choice depends on integration.

EDIT: I have used http://www.gnucash.org/ many years to do my personal accounting. Small businesses should also appreciate this program functionality.

Accountants and auditors prefer Pastel, but if you want to be able to get your own business information - go with Quickbooks.

It's not expensive, but also not free.

What we like about is that you are paying somebody to secure your data. You don't have to worry about backups etc.
You can have more than one person and more than one company.
We also like the fact that we don't have to buy support contracts or other licenses every year.
Accountants love it as it makes their work simple.

It just works. Last night it sent out close to 2,000 invoices for our uncapped customers without us having to lift a finger.

Our other company generates about 10 invoices a month. It works just as well for that.

Also depends on needs. My own 2 businesses run on WebERP and OpenERP, both extremely modified for integration and functional purposes.

Why not list your requirements and crucial functions?
