Ace Combat 6

Anyone looking at getting this title? The idea of a combat flight-sim on the Xbox appeals to me as I found most of the PC titles to get lost in the complex control systems.

I'm thinking about it, the ace combat games have always been a lot of fun, however its not a combat flight-sim, is purely arcade dogfighting. Think back to the old arcade games, but much much better lol. Man I used to love that one helicopter game they had at tigervalley back in the day.

I played the demo and it was like Project Sylpheed with modern jets. Fun but you could get swamped by all the info thrown at you at once. Its multiplayer aspect though looks very very interesting.

I have been looking for a flight sim for the Xbox. Wish they would bring out something like flight simulator for it.

Gav, I've got the demo - it's available on Live Marketplace - it's pretty good, the plane graphics are insane (Cities are cool, but not as good)

It plays well, my only gripe is that there's no in cockpit view in the demo, but apparently there is on in the game.

I grabbed the demo from the Marketplace, the graphics are amazing, however its a very "arcadey" type game, so it won't appeal to die hard flight simmers.

That being said, I did have a boat-load of fun, although I can't see it lasting.

Get the demo, if you want more, then shell out the bucks.
