Just some feedback on this router.
Cyberdyne sells it for about R450 ex.
It has the connexant chipset and includes a 4-port switch.
My Netgear router is in for repairs, so I decided to get a cheap replacement router for backup usage. This Aceex was the cheapest router I could find so I bought it.
My word. I was expecting a dreadful product but this thing is amazing. It has almost every feature of the Netgear that costs almost 3x as much. It has a very nice clean web interface -> Generic Conexant interface. About the only feature I could not find was automatic DynDNS updating.
Setup was as easy as popping in the telephone line, entering the account and psw, and after a quick 10-second reboot I was online. Amazing. With the netgear I still had to change something here and there to get it to connect.
I can really recommend this router. It has every little feature you need in a router, comes at an unbeatable price and works without a hitch.
Be advised it comes without a line filter and lightning protector.
