Hi there

I am a new owner of this beautiful tablet. It is fast sleak and agile. Responds like machine on caffeine.
Just one issue--i cant connect through a proxyserver; problem is android 3.0.1 which is what this tab comes with. The upgrade to V3.2 apparently has a fix for this. Problem is the upgrade is not yet available for users OTA, but rather as a hack.which will void the waranty, so not a good idea.
Anyone know when the OTA will be available in south africa?

lol, it never came for my A500.

Dude do a full back up and than save that somewhere and than do the hack. You can always roll it back if you need to.

Do you have a link where the step by step instructions will be? I am fairly familiar with Linux-based OS (I hack Ubuntu systems like this)' nut this tablet hardware is what is vexing me. I have searched around bu those instructions are scary even for me who has done some Terminal work.
