No it is , it goes dark then starts flickering and the screen splits in half then comes on , I then do a restart then it’s works completely fine like nothing happened
Unfortunately the way you describe the problem/events make it a bit difficult to follow exactly what "it" is what "it" (laptop clearly being on but just a black screen/s, laptop not on at all, laptop on with built-in screen black but external connected TV on).
It is possible that there is a hardware problem that Game will need to sort out but you could be lucky that you just ended up switching off the laptop at some stage with a 2 screen option and it now keeps on wanting to display only to the external screen.
I would suggest seeing if you can get the laptop working with
both the built-in screen on and the TV on (connected with HDMI) at the
same time.
1) on the Acer pressing "Fn" together with "F5" on the keyboard should go through a cycle every time you press it where only the laptop screen will be on, next only the external TV will be on and last both the laptop screen and TV will be on). - it is possible that you should press only the F5 key to go through the options.
2) Get to the setting where both the laptop screen and TV are showing something from the laptop.
If you can get to there, then check what the Windows settings are for mutilple screens
1) Using a mouse or the latop touch pad, right click once somewhere on the desktop and select "Display settings".
2) Look for the section called "Mutiple Displays"
3) Then click on "Detect" / Identify to make sure what screen Windows identifies as the primary display.
4) Also check what the settings are for Windows when more than one display is connected (Windows can normally put the desktop on only one screen, clone the screen on both, extend the desktop over both screens but have the task bar/start menu only on one screen, etc.).
Go through all the options and where possible select that the laptop screen is the preferred/primary screen to use (or second best for now, clone the desktop on both displays).
Then with the Fn+F5 keyboard keys (or just F5 if that is how your Acer is setup), go through the sequence where
only the laptop screen is showing something from the laptop (even though the TV is still connected and switched on).
Switch off the TV. Unplug the HDMI cable from the laptop.
Then do a proper windows shut down (not just sleep/hybernate).
Switch on the laptop and see what happens.
