ACER P2 Notebook - any good?

I noticed that FNB has Acer notebooks available as part of their smart device deal. For R275 a month they offer an ACER Travelmate P2 with 500gb hard drive, i3 processor and 4gb of RAM.

What is this laptop like and what is ACER quality like these days - it appears they come with 1 year fetch and return warranty?

Pretty run of the mill, but not a bad deal all in all. Oh, and Acer's been making good laptops for quite some time now, all their crappiness that was the eMachines brand has now been replaced by Packard bell, which is also making some good stuff lately.

Did you get one eventually? Is it any good?
 
Naah, beans100, decided to buy an Acer with 3yr on site warranty from game. Had money from the insurance pay out so decided not to get locked into another 24 months with fnb.
