Acer ram upgrade

I have a ACER aspire 3620 laptop, with 512 Ram, My old lap top is a Acer aspire 1360 it died, a screw cam out of the harddrive and shorted out the IDE controler so mother boad is stuffed, (want a fortune to repalce) I would like to know if i can upgrade the 3620 ram with the ram from the 1360 to make 1 gig

Those ship with 2 256 chips if i'm not mistaken best to check cuz the board only has 2 mem slots

Now i have a half bugged laptop,

any idea of the price for a new motherboard for the 1360

I can plug it in myself.

no, sorry just ment I now have a dead 1360 with usable parts, everything but motherboard. the 1360 has 2 256 chips, it wont help me.

Call Acer support they will give a sales email, email them and ask for 1 no fitting.
