Acer Timeline available in SA?

Really interested in buying this notebook. Seems no other CULV notebook can match it i.t.o. price and battery life >8 hrs! Also has generally good net reviews for models with SU9400 proc.

Now here is the question.
The Acer Timeline seems to be ONLY available at Inc. Corr. It is NOT listed on the Acer SA site, nor any of the local online stores. Does anybody know if it is available locally at a much better price than Inc. Corr?

Understood. The same could probably be said for their after sales service. However, at present, there is nothing that can touch them in the CULV sector i.t.o price and battery life.

They're nice machines as long as you treat them with kit gloves.

My Acer TM received a chassis crack after being handled gently and then the LCD inverter died just after warranty. I can still use the machine, just need an external display with it. It was a value laden machine though although it cost R30K in South Africa, in Singapore where I bought it, it cost 40% of the price.
