I have a Travel mate 2310 and want to wack another 512mb in it. I phoned axiz and they say they can only guarantee Acer tested memory in it and they want to charge R793ex for it, the spec is DDR333 CL2.5 Kingston.
Would it be safe for me to put a Kingston Value Ram DDR333 CL2.5 in which would only cost R523ex even though the sales people are instructed to only sell certified RAM for notebooks?
