It was apparently only the computer hard drives and not the monitors that were stolen.

Now either they're talking about the entire computer and not just the hard drives, or, they are talking about just the hdd in which case it wasnt a stolen computer - either way shoddy journalism.

According to the A+ course the correct term is the "system unit". I've never come across anyone who actually uses it, most people call it the hard drive..

Its called the computer, and normally attached to it is the monitor/screen and the keyboard and mouse. Well ,thats my view.
