Hi guys
Since we no longer have any coverage at the office, one of the guys here took our office modem home - only to find out the account is no longer active. We never asked anyone to deactivate it - go figure.

After spending hours on the phone with the helpdesk the problem is still not solved. Strange thing is, we can log in to the web mail, but not the registration page or use the username and password to make a connection.

The person at the help desk suggested that we keep on trying as he is baffled [V] - LOL.

How do you escalate a call? Who should we speak to? The help desk person wouldn't tell us.

Anyone ever have this problem?

Sentech is using "Infranet" for their back-end authentication and account management system.

"Infranet" is supposedly a carrier/isp-grade industrial solution for handling "realtime" transactions, and "realtime" service permissioning, and billing, and account activation.

However, I've worked with that piece of **** software before, and finally after 4 years threw it the **** out of my company, replaced with a system that now works perfectly.

So, bear with Sentech. I'm pretty sure that the software is what causes 99% of these account issues. It really is terrible terrible terrible software. (Have I mentioned how terrible it is?)

I can understand their pain and suffering. However users might not always...

If I'd known that they will be using Infranet beforehand, I would have advised them against it. I have a lot of experience in it. I would have given them my best "objective" professional view about the software, and it's local resellers/implementers too, free of charge, just to make sure that noone else needs to suffer the incredible price tag of Infranet and it's poor performance.
