Action can't bcompleted because folder or file in it is open in another program

Im one of those people that does not give up when I encounter a problem on my PC. Took me hours but here is the answer to a problem I had and solved.

Windows 8.1
Problem:
The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program

Solution
File Explorer
Click: View/ Options/ Change folder and search options/ View which is a tab again/ [untick] Launch folder windows in separate process.


Bingo, it worked for me!
