Activating GPRS on MTN

Hi guys,

Finally RICA'd my mtn sim and got the GPRS settings from *123*13#. Saved them, and made it my default access point. When I try to connect it still doesn't work. I get "Internet: Unable to connect. Try again." I have a nokia e65. Do I possibly need to call and have the GPRS activate like we had to back in the day? I remember the last few sims I bought (before RICA) this was not necessary. If so, who do I call (please don't say Ghost Busters).

Ok so after getting very annoyed with this, i left it... gave it a try now and it connected... I am writing it off to a waiting period, maybe someone from MTN can confirm. I am also reading quite abit about MTN downtime, so it might be related to that. Not too sure, but it works now, using the connection to post.

Normally takes abt 2-24 hours for GPRS to provision on the number when the activation is done via USSD.

But most of the times its instant by restarting the handset.
