Activating Telephone line in complex

Just moved in to a new flat and there is a line available (prev tenants didn't use it). I would like to get it activated so that I can get adsl in the next few weeks. Do I need to get Telkom in here to activate it physically or can it be done telephonically? The other flats in the complex all have lines + adsl.

Any direction would be most appreciated.

For what it's worth I am considering a 4 my line + capped account at either Afrihost or Webafrica (200gb)

Telephonically, get a handset and router. Call 10213 to get line and ADSL activated. Call ISP to get account.

Or get a Simple package if they want to charge for installation.
