Active Fibre in Die Hoewes Centurion

Hello

Has anyone in Die Hoewes Centurion had thier ordered or activated there fibre? Just want to know how fast it is going on in the area. It just went online last week.

skimread yes I know. Was just wondering if anyone has connected yet and what there speed is like.
 
Im right next to the dark purple, apparently I will be covered by next week Wednesday, so will apply for a 20Mbps and keep you updated.

I cant wait, this 4Mbps DSL is getting way too slow for my streaming requirements :)

Yeah also on 4mbps dsl. To slow for me as well. I have ordered 100mbps from webafrica. But it is a 6-10 week wait time they said. :( do not know if telkom is faster but it is way to expensive.
 
So our offer we made on the house was accepted today and we'll be moving in on the 1st of November.

I gave Webafrica a call as their coverage map shows more than half our complex is already covered under fibre, however my house is 3 houses down from the "active" zone and still in planning zone.

Very frustrating as its literally like 100m.

The lady said if it's already in the complex then they are probably just busy finalizing everything and it should be up and running within a few weeks / months.

Fibre was installed inside, but apparently the area has not been lit (although it does show purple)...

Closest corner is Alethea and Glover
