So the other day I got my new SD Card for my HTC Wizard, only to find that ActiveSync won't sync files on the card, which is rather mind boggling.

Is there any way I can sync the card? I don't need anything complicated - basically just copying from the card to the pc (shouldn't have to go the other way). I thought of using synctoy, but it can't see anything on the phone at all; mobsync (mobisync?) gives a rapi error when I try to run it; and I really don't want to have to do it manually, because I know I'll forget.

Does anyone have any solution?

USB SD Card slot

From my own experience with the Imate JasJam and its microSD: Just by an USB flash disk with SD Card adaptor or an USB to microSD. Put it into PC and sync with synctoy. I bought the Kingston 2GB with SD Card slot

DTCR/2GB +-R 230.00 Kingston 2GB USB 2.0 Drive plus MMC/SD Reader

microSD to SD adaptors are also available.

I hope this helps.

I'd really rather not - if I have to take the card out, and put it in an adapter, and then sync with synctoy, I could just as well browse to the sd card folder on the phone and copy everything across manually.

I'm really looking for something that will either run as part of activesync, or that will run automatically when the phone's connected to the PC (which is probably asking a bit much), or at least that I can run before/after/during activesync.

I really don't know why activesync doesn't read the sd card - it makes it so much less useful.
