Hi i need help setting up a connection sharing via Ad-Hoc WiFi between two laptops for the Cell C modem.

Hi,
I think it has nothing to do with the cell c modem.
You can do it with any internet connection depending on the OS you use.
On Windows 7 it is very easy to broadcast from your wireless adapter.

I should have mentioned: Windows 7 Professional.

Go to the wireless network settings. Add a new network, give it a name and make it an ad-hoc network. Your other pc should be able to pick up a network with the name you gave the ad-hoc network. If you can get those connected you basically just have to enable internet connection sharing on the one with the modem.

Otherwise, Connectify is a handy tool that does all the internet sharing for you! Even if your card isn't supported for 'Access point' mode you can still use Ad-hoc.

Also, if you don't come right with windows native functionality, have a look at ccproxy. You basically set up the proxy on the machine with the connection and connect to the proxy ip address with the other machine.
