So after a month in shipment (ordered 16th Dec received 24th Jan) I have finally received and tested my new Headsets..
What are they I hear you asking? AD700? Huh?
Yip got me a pair of Audio Technica AD700.
I'll admit they not the prettiest headset but fark me are they comfortable! I had to use the hair band trick to pull the two wings closer together to fit my head better. They are super light and airy!
To the sound...
Haven't had much chance to test them as much as I want but all in good time
I played some Black Ops 2 (TDM and 2 S&D Pick-ups).
And listened to some music varying from Bush - Skrillex - the only classical track I have.. The one that comes with windows
But no headset I've ever owned has come close to the clarity and just sheer positional sound of the audio! It's amazing.
I was listening to bush and it felt as if I was the drummer. I could place each hit around me very awesome!! People have complained about the bass of these cans, and I have to say I don't know what they talking about. It just perfect. Not overwhelming but clear and solid.
Many complain about BLOPS2 sound, but boy could I hear the faintest footsteps and place the position and direction perfectly every time, something all guys are battling with, g35's included (now to just work on my shooting
). The stage and just audio cues are so much more distinguished.
Even TS sounds better that's how good these are!
The old classic virtual barber shop sounded 10 times better than my senny cx300 and Vulcans. Soo much clearer and just wow.. I got goose bumps!
All in I paid about R1400 with shipping and customs. Definitely worth it. If these break I'll buy another set no questions.
I'll post some photo's of my little mic contraption that I'm using with them later tonight.
