add fuctionality to a cellphone

Hi all

I have a old SE Z600 from my brother that I want to play mp3's on only problem is this is one of the few New phones that cant play MP3's or record videos.




Anyway is it possible to upgrade this phones software/firmware to enable it to play MP3's and watch videos

I do have a data cable for this phone and an going to take it on as a project

Any help would be appriciated

I had a Z600, nice old SE clamshell, durable lil' fellow that is.

www.getjar.com, I think there's an mp3 player there, though TBH, I doubt it can handle mp3 playback.
