Add MBB to my desktop

Please tell me how to add the MBB Forum shortcut to my desktop. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10

I did, but I get the "No Smoking" symbol.....meaning it will not copy to my desktop. That's why I ask if it's my browser. Please bear in mind that I ask for advice because I am not a computer boff!

Google is your friend.

First, head to the website you want to add. Locate the icon to the left of the website's address on the location bar and drag and drop it to your desktop. You'll get a desktop shortcut for that website. If you want to rename the shortcut, right-click it, select “Rename”, and enter a new name.

It will open in your default browser, so if Brave is the default, in that.

Alternatively, if this doesn't work in Brave, do the same using Edge. The desktop link will still open in whatever the default browser is.

Or...

Create a new txt file on the desktop. Open it and paste in exactly this:

start "" https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/whats-new/

Save it, then rename it "mybb.bat" (important: not mybb.bat.txt)

Double click on that should launch MyBB in your default browser.

Or...

Set MyBB as your home page in Brave and open Brave.

On your desktop, right click, new shortcut.
Paste the link:

Hit next, call it MyBB and hit finish:

Icon on your desktop now:
