how do I solve this errorIMG_6090.PNG
1)vodacom sim is used in another phone
2)sim is prepaid
3)currently have no card linked to billing, removed it yesterday.....cards are still linked to wallet

Where exactly are you trying to do this?

I’ve never seen that screen before, but I’m also pretty sure you can’t add your mobile service provider as a payment option for your Apple ID.

Also pretty sure that even if you could it wouldn’t work on Prepaid. You need to be on a contract that can be post billed for this kind of thing to work otherwise they can’t get guaranteed they’ll get the money.

But the bigger question is why on earth would you remove a card to opt for this instead? Simple answer seems to simply put the card back and carry on with life.

I agree with this, even if it was possible I doubt such a service exist outside of the USA (like Apple Card which is US only iirc), and certainly not for a prepaid sim

Vodacom
it should work on prepaid because that's how I pay for most of my streaming services if needed then I use my virtual card. But my virtual card isn't working on the above screen.

But why would you want to do this?

Either way seems like it’s pretty obvious you need to talk to Vodacom about this, they are offering the service.

Pretty sure the problem would be prepaid, because Apple doesn’t bill instantly for most things.

its not accepting my virtual card, yeah I messaged them but most of the guys they have on their chat services are not really helpful and didn't want to sit with the call centre if there's a quick solution online.

Yeah they are ****ing useless.

It’s actually incredible how they manage to basically fall to the top.

All my subs and purchases are billed through Vodacom. I just find it easier to pay one bill instead of having to worry about subs and purchases at different times. Vodacom does notify you via an SMS every time a purchase is charged.

I’m on an open Vodacom contract though and have my virtual debit card as the secondary payment option should something go wrong.

I don’t have a credit card/s.
