I have an existing alarm system installed(Caddax Nx-4), it has IR beams, window/door sensors and panic buttons connected all of which are hard wired to the system.
I now want to add remote panic buttons to the system, I'm sure it will just be a matter of purchasing a receiver and wiring it to the panic circuit. Can anyone give me advice on what I would need, where to get it and how I would do this or else give me a reason why I would not be able to do this.
I have the installation manual for the system but it does not mention anything about where to wire the panic button although I have a feeling they connect to the AUX2 input.
I could get the security company to do it but they will charge a few hundred Rand for what I'm pretty sure is a simple jop.
Any advice would be appreciated.
