hi jack
anyone know of a addon that allows you to preselect addons and activate these selections from a list or buttons kinda like outfitter or blizzard gear thingy ma jig

everybody knows about wowmatrix.com right.. but thats jsut to update and load new ones or delete em completely.

Ingame there's the Interface window you get when you click Esc but not all addons can be interacted with via this menu option. Once you character is loaded with all the addons I think the only way to switch them off is to get out and reload em.

I use the character profiling to select which add-ons I need for which character and then they load accordingly when i log.

If you find something.. please post here.

I would so love to press 1 named raid to enable my raiding addons and 1 named quest for those set when and if I find one is the problem but will keep you posted

Is wowmatrix like curse? Which is the best plugin manager to run?

dont know about curse but wowmatrix allows you to install delete and update your addons

Yeah, Curse is the same.. my guild suggested it.. now I am wondering which is better.. Curse or Wowmatrix?

You shouldnt be using wowmatrix anymore...
Its been banned at numerous sites / repositories.

I moved over to Curse and never looked back.
Once I upgraded to Curse and ran the update... I had around 12 addons out of date, even though wow matrix stated all of my addons are up to date.

I have noticed whit wowmatrix it scans and shows some addons sites are offline but still gives you a "all are uptodate" message

Wowmatrix is out of date.

Most people use Curse now but the problem is that it doesn't have access to the latest version of all addons (even though it reports them as being up-to-date) so you are forced to use a combination of Curse and Wowinterface.

I think some of you have missed the point.

Unfortunately I don't know of any addons that let you customise a certain "set" or anything, but you could give option(less)house a try. It's a in-game addon handler that lets you turn them on and off on the fly. It's very easy to run around with questhelper disabled when raiding, and then simpy open the mod and enable DBM. Simply click reloadui and the addon will work without having to exit to the login screen.

Here is the link to the latest version Optionhouse

I trust WoWmatrix more than Curse...

I used Curse and while updating got a virus through the application. Switched to WoWMatrix.

Recently there were a number of websites compromised due to an Adobe flash player vulnerability. This vulnerability allowed the injection of flash scripts that download keyloggers onto unsuspecting visitors' computers, opening up the potential for the player to be hacked and lose their video game account.

Thursday Adobe released an update, and it's important for everyone who has Adobe flash player installed to download this patch. If you do not, your computer and video game accounts are at risk.

Find out about the update, or download it and start installing it as soon as you can. You can also use the auto update feature within the flash player if you desire updating through that method.

Please, do this as soon as you can. This vulnerability is very real, and there are people attempting to steal accounts this very moment. Any website you visit until you've updated may be a potential threat to your computer's security.

As an extra precaution, please make sure to run virus scans on your computers to ensure they're clean of threats. The known keylogger files circulating related to this are:

a.exe
b.exe
c.exe
6to4ex.dll
There may be variations of these files we don't know about yet, so please if you detect anything else let us know.

Unfortunately, several addon pages on Curse.com were compromised due to a obscure bug in the html sanitization process. We've removed these comments and released an emergency patch to ensure that this does not happen again.

While the Curse Client remained unaffected by the attack it is still very important for all users to to follow the above steps to make sure you're no longer vulnerable to these attacks.
