Address autocomplete like Discovery Health

Hey guys,

I'm busy playing around with Google Places API, and coincidentally had to update my Discovery Health contact details, specifically my address.

Now normally my specific address can't be found on those autocomplete stuff, but with Discovery's they found it almost immediately.

Anyone know what service they are using for this? Or did they roll their own?

Lightstone offers it as a service, as well as a few other companies, depending on what specifically you are after.

I'm specifically looking after a very accurate autocomplete search for address details. So the person can search their address, and it should autocomplete all fields. I will have a look at lightstone, any other company you can name that might be able to provide that data? Thanks!

Maybe a company like afrigis? Don’t know about addr Auto complete but I know they have mega data banks

Afrigis is another.

These guys don't offer these services for free, mind you, so not sure what sort of level OP is trying to play at.

"free" only gets you that far. So I don't mind paying for it.

from what I can see, Discovery's JSON responses when doing an autocomplete lookup matches what AfriGIS supplies with their libraries, so definitely identified their source and will be contacting their sales team.
