Adidas has unveiled the UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley running shoe – the first mass-produced footwear created using Parley Ocean Plastic.

To add that they have used recycled plastic in sports boots since a very long time ago.

I don't like the new addidas style of making the midsole surface not smooth. To me it looks styrofoam and will be more difficult to clean dirt off of.

Lol, not necessarily cheaper, recycling is a process. The recycled material is turned raw into a ‘new’ material. Trying to be layman here.
