I was a customer on various sims for the last 3 years and things were never ever perfect. I thought it was but now in hindsight my eyes have been opened.
I understand the need for 3G with Vodacom/MTN if you need the mobility btw...but I will now rather get in my car and drive to work if I have to.
I recently moved over to adsl and even though the initial installation was a major pain, everything else has since then been an absolute pleasure, from the line speed,reliability and stableness of my connection to dealing with all the relevant dsl cap providers, especially Telkom.
I got charged out of bundle rates due to a sytem glitch that vodacom denies. Vodacom robbed me of R400 and they will never ever see me as a broadband customer again. As soon as my contract ends I will not be renewing it. I will make sure i only pay the weekend plus fee.
The only reliable person at VC is Vodacomdata, but how many requests are there a day!?
