Hi, my friend got an ibook g4 yesterday, not being at all familiar with it I struggled to get a better brightness on the DVD as he tried to watch Doom, which is generally shot in very dark rooms and corridors. Apart from the brightness on the F1 & F2 keys there doesnt seem to be a contrast or other controls like I have on my WinDVD player.
