Adobe Student discounts

I'm looking to buy Photoshop and Lightroom for my wife and, looking at the Adobe online store, I see that students can get up to 80% off these products. My wife's a student, so I'm keen to take advantage of this, since that's a massive saving.

Questions:
- Can I purchase from the US store?
- If not, how do I get the stuff for the cheaper price, since SA's online store doesn't cater for student discounts?

With the student discount?

Yes, of course, I did read :)

IIRC Master Suite was around R5.5K. I can check again as the store is just down the road from me. How of course you register these boxed products I do not know but my understanding is that when you install, Adobe verifies your Student/Teacher status. Gimme about 40 minutes...

Thanks ;)

On the online store CS5 Extended is $199 and Lightroom is $89 for student editions. That works out to less than R2000, so would be interesting to see how DionWired compared.

I was out by a bit. The Design Std is R2500 and Master is R5000 but both boxes exclude Lightroom unless I just did not find this hidden in the spinal fine print. And my reason for investigating this: at R2500 for my purposes or even R5K if I wanted to splash, I could save countless $$$ by becoming a student just to get Adobe CS5.

Online is definitely cheaper though. Then there's the DL size...
