Tiny cold island soon
So, I switched on my PC, after a good game of us smashing France at the local pub, and ADOBE pops up to tell me that a patch is available.

It downloaded for ever while I browsed these forums and then insisted that I close FireFox while it ran it's updates.

Then, after I close FireFox it asks me if I agree to the license agreement.

So ... i'm like ... license agreement?
So, I check the box and click agree.

Now I'm off to pour another celebratory drink ... the thoughts of a license agreement will not linger in my mind for more than 2 seconds.
Why does humanity insist on trying to trick us into believing that anybody actually reads the license agreement?

They're probably saying: Listen Boet, don't steal our software, oh and by the way, if you're in the middle of a huge project and our software bombs out or your cat gets killed by our software box that fell over, please don't blame us, we've got expensive lawyers and you don't stand a chance. Now tick that box, or the R24000 software you bought, won't install.

Oh, and thank you for your purchase.

Not that I read any of those, so I won't know the exact terms. The question is, does any one of the employees at the software company know even 45% of those terms off hand?
