Adoption Information

So I was adopted a few days after being born and would like to know how to find out who my parents were.

Who should I contact? And how would I go about retrieving this info?

All I know is that I was born in Port Elizabeth on a Friday, I had 7 siblings and that my birth mother's husband was not my biological father but rather her boss was my true father.
You dont say how old you are, so dont know how long ago this happened. However, I caution you to please think long and hard about this before you go any further. You want to find your biological parent(s) (understandable) but ask yourself if you are strong enough emotionally that if you do find them, and they don't want to know you at all and reject you totally, could you take it? I do not wish to be cruel, but they have had all this time to find you, but havn't. Also, if you had loving adoptive parents - who consider you their child in all things that matter - how they may feel about this, even if they know about it and seemigly support it.

I can take it. I'm not looking for love from them - I don't need it or want it. I just have a burning curiosity.

I don't care what my adoptive dad has to say about it - he's not part of my life. And my adoptive mom actually encourages me to know - says its my right.
