adsense payment failed

anyone else got a payment failure on their account? my account number and branch number is correct. yet the bank decline the payment due to invalid banking details?
 
mmm, don't think I remember the "checking/savings" drop down offered when I added my details. hopefully it was that

Also make sure you are using the correct name and surname as it appears on your banking account. This is one specific verification technique they use before making payment. If the names and surname does not correspond, they reject the payment.

They match thanks. I added the "MNR" infront just in case. No way to edit it though. had to remove and add another primary

Do you have to wait until next month now?

I was too late for yesterday, and now I need to stop payments before they send a cheque.
 
no they tried again, failed again. I was using my local branch code, apparently you need to use the universal branch code given by your bank, so I used FNB's 250655

it appears to work, and they seem to retry after the first 24 hours you changed your banking details/added a banking detail. waiting to see now if i get the money

I don't think they will send a cheque hey, if your account is upgraded you can only do EFT now

worst case is funds get put on hold till next month
 
funds were deposited this morning. it retries quite quickly, so no need to wait till next month or anything

just remember to use your bank's universal branch code and not your local branch code number and everything is golden :)
