So i decided to finally upgrade my home ADSL to the 4096 option.
Those of you that do have the same line speed, what kind of line syncs do you have?

My line used to sync at 4096 when I had a 4Mb line, but my throughput speeds were on average about 3.2Mb

What exactly does 3.2Mb mean? That amount of data coming down per second?

I sync at 4096 down and 512 up.

Max download speed in the region of 430KB/s

Same here, about 430KB/s to astraweb (overseas news server)

I get around 410KB/s using local news servers and international torrents.
Still Sync's at 4096

Basically, Yes, that's the speeds I was able to download at, 3.2Mbps = +- 400kbps.

Your sync speed will not always (I guess only 1% of people will get the maximum 4096 or 4Mb) be the speed you download at.
