/Hellkom rant
Being a avid on-line gamer i have being through alot of diffrent connection types 56k->64k isdn -> iburst ->512 adsl.
I have had the 512k connection for about 3 weeks( 3 gig package) and hands down it is the WORST connection type of them all.
I was with i-burst for about 10 months and although my ping was all over the place AT LEAST I COULD PLAY THE DAMM GAME.
My M8 down the road has a 64k ISDN connection and we play on the same server (AO ) btw , he has no such problems.
I have a much better pc setup (ram/graphics etc )than his
so it's not that.
I thought the more you pay the better the connection is supposed to be "bull***" cough...cough.
I am using Telkom as my ISP provider so to try and make the best out of a ****ty situation would it make a diffrence to change to another ISP with a shaped option ? or am i doomed to playing my PS2 instead.
