Hi all, thought I'd just let everyone know, I've just come across an article in the current issue of Fairlady about ADSL in South Africa.
It's a 3 page article, the first 2 pages are basically a layman's guide to ADSL, telling people what it is and the benefits, etc and how to go about getting it. Also, there's a list of ISPs and their respective pricing and a glossary.
On the 3rd page, thank god, there's an article aimed at Telkom, written by Wendy Knowler. There are a lot of references MyADSL and Hellkom, and even a quote from forum member Philippa Davis. The article goes on, informing the reader about Telkom's position in the market, it's monopoly, etc.
Unfortunately, it doesn't delve into too much detail, so the reader isn't made completely aware of the dire circumstances Telkom has put us in, but it's all good, and hopefully it'll increase consumer awareness.
Thanks Fairlady!
