ADSL attributes

Hi

I know that there are a couple of threads re ADSL: for Noobs, but as Im quite able to research all the various ISP's etc; I was wondering what are the main attributes for an ADSL account that I should be on the lookout for? Should I go for contract vs prepaid, etc?

Simple - if u want a fixed monthly bandwidth allowance, and u think u wont waste any of that bandwidth then go for contract. If you are unsure of your monthly usage and you want to have it rolled over when unfinished, then go for prepaid..

These are things im sure you can figure out urself... doesnt take a degree in IT to understand each type of account.

What do you want to use it for. That is basically the only thing we need in order to advise you.
You did not say what you'd be using it for.

Even with Survo's good advice, his advice does not fit with a person that now and then needs to download 2GB of linux stuff.
