ADSL availability in Centurion

I am moving to centurion at the end of the month (not sure where), looking more to the south western areas like reeds wierda, and then of course, mnandi AH and those areas.

Anyone perhpas know if ADSL is available in there areas or if not, where it is available, I need to keep it in mind when I go looking for a place in the next couple of weekends

I lived in the Reeds from April to September of last year, and had DSL there. Mind, it took about 9 weeks to actually get it installed because they needed to do upgrades in the area, but once it was in, I had no problems with it.

Moved to the The Reeds in mid-December and the techie told me that ADSL is available everywhere and mind you it took 4hours to install. If you dnt believe check here

I was all chuffed when I got DSL (self install) within a week.

4 hours would have made me keel over. Service isn't even that fast in the States

Cool thanks, my wife wants us to live in the reeds, because we can get a place with a pool, I want us to live in mnandi, cause its open space, but you know, the wife is always right

I'm in the Reeds as well. Applied for ADSL a month before I moved in. I had my hands full keeping Telkom away while I still had people in there renting the place.

If you want to live in mnandi, you'll have to fork out at least R60 000 for decent security.... the Reeds is a better choice, imho.

Also think about going to the reeds or maybe wierda park, I can get a place there with a swimming pool

FWIW, I really liked the Reeds. Convenient to everything, yet felt separated enough from the hustle and bustle to be a welcome place to come home to. Next to where I currently live (Hout Bay) the Reeds has been my favorite home in SA so far.
