ADSL availability

Hi guys

I have a friend who lives in Weltevreden Park, and has (unsuccesfully) tried to order ADSL. Telkom says he is too far away from the exchange. Does anyone who lives there have ADSL, and if so, how close or far are you from the exchange?

BTW he checked on the Telkom tracker, they said it was fine. He has two lines, both with different first 3 numbers, both of them are too far away from their respective exchanges.

am in northriding so kind of the same area .. justtell him to keep bugging them ... they DO have lines just to lazy to get someone to check ...
