I recently decided to switch from wireless to adsl due to online gaming needs.
Today i took a day off as they were going to come and install my adsl line, waited all day and finally decided to call them. They telled me that there is cabling issues with the exchange and dont know when it will be fixed.
The funny thing is there are people staying in my road all with adsl connections who have no problems, i just dont understand this cabling issue.
Who can i contact further, is there a cabling department i can phone ? Im in a bit of a pickle as ive canceled my wireless contract, but only effective end of July, so hoping i can sought this out before then.
Has anyone had experience with this problem and what will be my best options, besides waiting whenever Telkom can give me a proper answer ?
