ADSL - Cannot connect to internet (no internet access)

Hi.
I've just had my ADSL line activated by Telkom and signed up with Afrihost for data. Connected the router, verified settings but unable to connect to the internet. I've also tried connecting via WiFi as well but same problem - no internet access. Pinging hosts such as afrihost.com; google.com etc returns no results.

If anyone experienced the same problem and managed to resolve please let me know.
 
I know Afrihost had issues where users where unable to connect to their authentication servers, this may possibly be your issue. So maybe contact afrihost or use a trial account from another ISP to check if it is indeed an ISP issue or an issue with your line.
 
I just got a new Telkom ADSL installation.
Everything was working except internet.

I phoned them (+- 20min on hold) and they reset my port. Or thats what they told me.
After that the internet connection worked fine.

So perhaps give them a call? (10210)
 
Issue resolved. Verification was not successful initially. Thanks for the feedback :)
