ADSL can't connect

Friend of mine just called to say his ADSL was down and that he couldn't connect. He tried some of my accounts ...nothing working.

I logged out to try his. Not working. Tried to log back in with either of my accounts and not connecting anymore.

On with 3G atm, anyone else having login issues?

Yip, I am having some problems in Durban

My Nashua connection went down yesterday so I switched to Axxess. Came home today tried to connect and had no joy at first with Telkom, Access and Nashua... eventually, after multiple attempts and a number of router resets, routesentry managed to connect with the Telkom and Axxess accounts. Still no luck with the Nashua account.

Also on one attempt the ADSL connection showed as connected on my laptop but I was not able to browse MyBB.co.za or any other website. I tried a few addresses and the only one I had joy with was IOL.co.za.... so I knew I had a connection but only the one site seemed to work. Strange?
 
Hmmm, been like this for the past 30mins at least here.

PS. Tried on webafrica (shaped and unshaped) and cybersmart accounts.
 
Still can't connect :/

EDIT: Just got off the phone with WA support, it is an issue affecting those on SAIX in Cape Town atm.

Just a lil' warning, whatever you do, don't try switch internet accounts if you're currently connected ...you ain't gonna be logging in again ;)

Just general ADSL problems. Some international sites not working at all. :(
 
We're down as well.Durbanville.

Tried WebAfrica Unshaped,IS Semi Shaped and Mweb local.No luck.

Using my phone on Virgin gprs atm.Painful. I wanna WoW!
 
General problem all over the place...as per MWEB. They're blaming Telkom...

The problem is with Telkom, I was on the phone to them as I also had a problem, then all of a sudden it started working again.

Problem is I then tried to change to my axxess account and it went "dead" again and took me another +_30 minutes to reconnect to my Telkom account, so whatever you do once you manage to connect DO NOT try to change accounts while they are having this problem since you will have problems reconnecting again.:eek:
