Since Feb this year my exchange in Cape Town has become congested. You can see this issue quickly when you monitor performance and speeds. As soon as its a cold Sat/Sun or between 5pm and 9pm is horrible. But then when I download stuff queued between 00:00 and 06:00 is perfect.
Does anyone know what the plans are for the exchanges, will they be upgraded ( improved ) or will Telkom just wait until FTTH becomes cheap enough to replace copper? Its been 6 months with no improvement. Does anyone have any further info?
